Email Integration (SMTP)

Configure email notifications for alerts.

Setup

1. Navigate to Admin → Integrations → Email
2. Enter SMTP settings
3. Send test email
4. Save configuration

Configuration

Field	Description
SMTP Host	Mail server (e.g., smtp.gmail.com)
SMTP Port	Usually 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)
Username	SMTP authentication username
Password	SMTP authentication password
From Address	Sender email address
Use TLS	Enable TLS encryption

Common Providers

Gmail

Host: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
TLS: Yes

Use an App Password, not your regular password.

Microsoft 365

Host: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
TLS: Yes

Amazon SES

Host: email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
Port: 587
TLS: Yes

Troubleshooting

Connection Refused

• Check firewall allows outbound port 587/465
• Verify hostname is correct

Authentication Failed

• Check username and password
• For Gmail, use App Password
• Enable "Less secure apps" if required

Emails Not Received

• Check spam folder
• Verify From address is authorized
• Check SPF/DKIM records
